Welcome Wilson, Sr., Chairman of GSL Welcome, receives Mayor’s Keep Houston Beautiful Award

Welcome Wilson, Sr. has headed a committee in raising over $70,000 to landscape areas along the railroad track next to East Briar Hollow Lane and San Felipe. The railroad is completely visible from the surrounding neighborhoods. When mature, these trees will create a natural barrier between the homes and the railroad tracks. Earlier this year, the group voted to name the endeavor the Welcome W. Wilson, Sr. Beautification Project.
